Trophy Smallie just 2 ounces shy of the Minnesota State Record caught on Mille Lacs
October 21, 2011 A 7 pound 14 ounce pig was caught on Mille Lacs by Jeff Marvin of Duluth. Jeff caught the fish while trolling a crankbait in 8 feet of water. Over 20 internationally published writers and photographers will visit Arkansas to experience southern fishing at its finest and Jim DaRosa of the Fishing and Outdoor Radio show and I have been asked to be part of this exciting trip.
We'll participate in a customized fishing adventure, pursuing everything from largemouth bass to crappies, striped bass, walleyes and monster catfish.
This will be part media event for “Arkansas: The State of Fishing”and part corporate photo shoot for fishing equipment manufacturers Frabill and MarCum Technologies.
Jim and I will be taping a television show for Illinois Outdoors and on Wednesday night, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM we'll be hosting a live broadcast of the Fishing and Outdoor Radio Show from the Mountain Harbor Resort.
